The authentication process involves comparing images displayed on your device with those on the site; if they match, a simple tap confirms your identity and grants access.

Security is a key consideration with TeddyID. It operates through device ownership verification, requiring both your computer and mobile device to authenticate your login sessions. This dual-device approach enhances protection against unauthorized access.

The system also supports offline authentication: when your phone is not connected to the internet, you can still log in by entering a 6-digit passcode generated within the app.

For sensitive operations such as funds transfers, TeddyID prompts users to confirm their intent by tapping a designated button, thereby adding an extra layer of verification.

Similarly, users can manage the privacy of their personal data stored on TeddyID.com by approving or rejecting disclosure requests through this straightforward interface.

Additional security features include the ability to safeguard the app with a PIN code. The PIN can be configured to be requested only when your phone is in an unusual location, providing an extra safeguard in case of device loss or theft.
